He was born February 8, 1941 at Hugo the son of E.L. and Nellie Irons Baker. He married Juanita Coffman in Valliant on June 8, 1970. Don was a graduate of Valliant High School, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked in heating and air conditioning for several years and really enjoyed his work. Don loved his dogs, especially Miss Gypsie. He was an avid O.U. football fan and had lived in Oklahoma City for 36 years before recently moving back to this area. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son; Don Keith Baker; and his brothers, Woodward Baker; Hurshell Baker; and James Baker. Don is survived by his wife, Juanita Baker of Broken Bow; son and daughter-in-law Jackie and Sandy Meeks of Porum, Okla; grand daughters, Haley Meeks, and Katelyn Meeks both of Colorado Spring; grand sons, Adam Davis and Norman Davis both of Norman; brother and sister in law; Ed and Linda Bell Baker of Idabel; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
