Obituary: Mary Beatrice Baker

Newspaper: McCurtain Gazette Idabel, Oklahoma

Dated: October 20, 1991

Mary Beatrice 'Bea' Baker, 76, of Garvin, died Saturday (October 19, 
1991) at McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel.

She was born Feb. 3, 1915, in Valliant, and had lived her entire 
lifetime in McCurtain County.  

She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer C. 'Bake' Baker in 
July 1984.

She is survived by one daughter; Inez Breedlove, of Garvin; two 
sisters: Birdy Kilmer, of Alva, and Annie Mooney, of Valliant; one 
sister-in-law: Betty Monk, of Garvin;  two grandchildren, one great-
grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Millerton 
Assembly of God Church with Rev. C.A. Starks officiating.  Burial 
will be in Valliant Cemetery under direction of Huckleberry Funeral 
Service of Valliant.
