Obituary: Thelma Baker

Newspaper: McCurtain Gazette Idabel, Oklahoma

Dated: January 12, 1995

Thelma Henryetta Baker, 87 of Valliant, died Wednesday (January 11, 
1995)  at McCurtain Memorial Hosisptal. She was born Nov., 27, 1907 
in Kaufman County, Texas.

Baker was a member of the First Baptist Church of Valliant.

Survivors include one son, Orva 'Sonny' Baker of Panama City, Fla.; 
one daughter, Bettie Harwell of Valliant; four grandchildren and 
three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist 
Church, Valliant, with Rev. Dell Glenn and Rev. James Evans 
officiating. Burial will follow at Valliant City Cemetery under 
direction of Huckleberry Funeral Service of Valliant.
