All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Forest Hill Cemetery--Garvin OK Obituary: Ed Bastible Funeral services were held Saturday for Ed Bastible, 76, Garvin, who died January 25, 1995 in Garvin. Born April 11, 1918 in Millerton, he was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County and was a retired farmer. He had worked in the CCC Camp and was a veteran of WWII. Survivors include: his wife, Willie Bastible; three sons, J. V. Bastible, Troy Bastible and Travis Bastible; and one daughter, Anna Lee Gross, all of Garvin; three brothers, Jesse Franklin Bastible, Norman; R. D. Bastible, Clarksville, Texas; and Willie R. Bastible, Garvin; one sister, Mattie Mae Mooney, Garvin; also eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Services were held in the Forest Hill Baptist Church with bro. W. T. Tidmore officating.
