Obituary:  William 'Bill' Batchelor

Mccurtain Gazette, Idabel, McCurtain Co., Oklahoma December 26, 1935

= Young Man Dies in Hot Springs Hospital =

William Bachelor (Batchelor), aged 21 years passed away Thursday of 
last week in the Army and Navy hospital at Hot Springs, Ark., whre he 
was carried several days before for an operation for appendicitis. He 
was employed at the State Park Camp at Beavers Bend when he became 
ill.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m., at Forest Hill 
Cemetery with Lieut. Chas Hill, chaplain officiating. Pallbearers 
were boys from the Soil Conservation camp in Idabel. Chappell Funeral 
Home was in charge of arrangements.

Young Bachelor is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. 
Bachelor (Batchelor) ; one brother, George Bachelor (Batchelor), and 
two sisters, Misses Hazel and Estelle Bachelor (Batchelor), all of 
Cisco.
