= Aged Woman Survived By 26 Grandchildren =
 
   
Funeral services were held at Forrest Hill Thursday afternoon at 2:00 
o'clock for Mrs, Hattie Bird, 75, who died at the home of her daughter 
at Forest Hill.  Rev. J.H. King officiated and Chappell's Funeral home 
was in charge.
   
Mrs Bird is survived by two daughters, Mrs J. F. Batchelor (Batchelor) , 
of Garvin, and Mrs. Rosie Carroll (Cowell) of Hugo; 26 grandchildren and 
several great grandchildren.
 
Notes:
This is my Dad's (Bud Batchelor) Grandmother.He is 86 and he remembers 
when she died. She was married to Samuel Burns (his grandfather) before 
marrying J. E . Bird on Sept.12,1907 in Red River County,Texas.
