MRS. W. J. BLANTON DIED AT IDABEL THURSDAY

The angel of death visited Idabel Thursday of last week and took away 
Mrs. W. J. Blanton at 5:00.

Mrs. Blanton was one of the sweetest, purest and nobelest of all her 
friends.
She died at the age of 74 following a few week's illness.  She was a 
pioneer of Idabel, having been with her husband, among the first 
settlers who came to Idabel.  She was among those who organized the 
first Methodist Sunday School in Idabel.  She was very active in 
church work and a loving neighbor and friend to everyone who knew 
her.  She has many friends who mourn her death and will miss her, but 
will think that sometime they will meet again. 

Mrs. Blanton is survived by her husband, W.J. Blanton, four 
daughters, and a number of grand children.
