All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Buffalo Cemetery--Watson OK Anderson Bohanan, age 79, resident of Watson, Oklahoma, died Sunday, May 25, 1997 at the St. Michaels Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. He was born Septemtember 21, 1917 in Watson to the late Laymon Bohanan and the late Wysie Colbert Bohanan. He was united in marriage to Helen Tushka Bohanan. Mr. Bohanan was a timber worker and was a member of the Buffalo Presbyterian Church in Watson. Survivors include his wife, Helen Bohanan, Watson, OK; one daughter, Clara Taylor, Smithville, OK; one brother, Thomas Bohanan, Smithville, OK; one half brother, Johnson Bohanan Smithville, OK; two half-sisters, Wauleah Blatchford, Bell Garden, CA, and Wauhilla Griffin. Yukon, OK, three great grandchildren and a host of friends. Services were held Wednesday, May 28, 1997 at 2:30 p.m. at the Buffalo Cemetery in Watson. Rev. Gene Wilson. Elder Leon Bohanan and Elder Nathan Watson officiating. Burial followed in Buffalo Cemetery in Watson, under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena. Pallbearers were Jerry Lowman, Jimmy Lowman, Donnie Baker, Ronnie Johnson, Eugene Taylor, and Charles Bohanan.
