Obituary: Lonnie R. Box - BOX RITES FRIDAY

Newspaper: McCurtain Gazette, Idabel, Oklahoma

Date: May, 1991

Graveside services for Lonnie R. Box, 74,  of Valliant, who died 
Tuesday (May 14, 1991) at McCurtain Memorial Hospital have been 
scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday.

He was born Dec. 7, 1916, in Valliant, and lived his entire life in 
the community. He was a retired farmer and a member of the 
Pentecostal Holiness Church.

He is survived by three brothers: Herman and Loyd Box, of Tulare, 
Calif. and John Box of Valliant; six sisters: Millie Tatum and Marie 
Miller, both of Valliant, Eula Bell Tatum, of Dequeen, Ark., Ila Mae 
Rhodes and Joyce Morgan, of Eureka, Calif., and Betty Rhea of Albany, 
Ore.

Burial will be under direction of Huckleberry Funeral Service of 
Valliant.
