She was a widow, mother and grandmother. She was born in Coves, Arkansas, and raised in Plunkettville, Oklahoma. She came to Phoenix in 1956, and lived in the Sunnyslope area for 49 years. She loved the folks of Sunnyslope. People were her family. She fed the hungry, gave clothes to the naked and always had a kind word to speak to the down trodden. She never condemned anybody. She was in pursuit of God and it showed in her daily life. She lived a simple and humble life, and will surely be missed by many that knew her. She is survived by her grandson, Robert Greenrock. May she now rest in peace, and enjoy the eternal happiness of Heaven with Our God.
