::Eagletown Cemetery--Eagletown OK

McCurtain County Local Newspaper: May 25, 1939

FINAL RITES HELD FOR LOCAL WOMAN AT EAGLETOWN TUES.

Funeral services were held at Eagletown Cemetery on Tuesday, May 16, 
at 3:30 p.m. for Mrs. James C. Buchanan who died here May 15 of a 
paralytic stroke.  Rev. J.J. Land officiated.

Burial was made in the Eagletown cemetery under the direction of the 
CoffeyFuneral Home of Idabel.

Pallbearers were Bill Murphy, Vic Luttrell, Dolan McCullough, Dee 
Newton, Shird Perkins and Walker Couch.

The deceased is survived by her husband, James C. Buchanan; two sons, 
John Buchanan, Broken Bow, L.E. Buchanan, Eagletown; two daughters, 
Mrs. Charlie Currence of Broken Bow and Mrs. Alfred Ayers of 
Eagletown.
