BUCHANAN James Calvin Buchanan, 79, died at 11 p.m. Thursday at the McKinney veterans hospital following an extended illness. Born at Prescott, Ark., December 5, 1872, he had resided at Broken Bow for the past 26 years, moving here from Arkadelphia. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War and a member of the Christian Church. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Eagletown cemetery with Rev. Riley Donica of McKinney, Texas, officiating. Arrangements and burial were under direction of the Coffey funeral home.
