She was born Jan. 19, 1918, in Golden, and lived most of her life in the commjnity. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Wright City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Campton, in July of 1990. She is survived by one daughter, Betty Jenkins, of Mansfield, La.; one brother: David Adams, of Tulare, Calif.; one granddaughter; DeAnn Johnson; grandsons: Tim and Mike Jenkins; and great-grandaughter; Tiffany Johnson. Funeral services were held today at first Baptist Church in Wright City with bro. Harold McConnell officiating.
