We have not been able to learn just how this unfortunate accident occurred, but it seems that he had gone into a stall to feed one of his cows when the animal attacked him, severing an artery in his thigh with her horn. Every thing that medical skill could do was done but the loss of blood was so great that he could not stand it. He was carried from his home north of town to the Moran Cemetery on Monday and his remains were laid away by loving hands. We deeply sympathize with the heartbroken family in their hour of bereavement.
