::Broken Bow Cemetery--Broken Bow OK

McCurtain County Local Newspaper: December 29, 1932

MRS. J. A. CARROL SUCCUMBS

Mrs. J.A. Carrol, aged 70 years, died at the family home in Broken 
Bow Thursday, December 29.

Mrs. Carrol was born in Arkansas and has been a member of the Baptist 
Church for many years.  Her friends will receive news of her death 
with genuine regret but the knowledge of her christian life and the 
home above will lessen their sorrow.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 30, at 2 o'clock and 
interment will be at the Broken Bow cemetery in charge of Skaggs 
Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Carrol is survived by her husband, J.A. Carrol, three sons and 
five grandchildren.

(NOTE: The newspaper obiturary mistakenly lists the surviving husband 
as J.A. Carrol and it should be W.R. Carrol).
