W.O. CARTER DIED AT IDABEL JAN. 9. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Coffey Funeral Home at Idabel for W.O. Carter, an ex-Confederate soldier, who died there Wednesday, January 9. Burial was made in the Denison cemetery Monday morning at 11 o'clock. The deceased is survived by a son, O.B. Carter, Fort Smith, Arkansas, and a daughter, Miss Margaret Carter, of Omaha, Nebr., who attended the funeral. He was also a relative of Capt. W.A. CARTER Was Held last Sunday Afternoon at Coffey's Funeral Home Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Coffey Funeral Home for W. O. Carter, who died Wednesday morning. Thie remains were interred in the Denison Cemetery Monday Morning at 11 o'clock. Services were conducted by Dr. McElroy. The body had been in charge of Mr. Coffey since Wednesday awaiting the arrival of his children. O. B. Carter, a son, of Fort Smith and Miss Margaret Carter, a daughter, of Omaho, Nebr., arrived here, but other relatives were unable to come on account of illness.
