Cheek, 82, died Friday, Aug. 22, 1997. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in West Park Cemetery with David McClain officiating. Arrangements are by Rix Funeral Directors. Mr. Cheek was born in Smithville, Okla. He had been a longtime farmer. He married Lillian Edna Gardner in 1938 at Montague County. He was preceded in death by an infant son.
