Dennis Cheek

HEREFORD - Dennis "D.L.'' Cheek, 82, died Friday, Aug. 22, 1997.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in West Park Cemetery 
with David McClain officiating. Arrangements are by Rix Funeral 
Directors.

Mr. Cheek was born in Smithville, Okla. He had been a longtime 
farmer. He married Lillian Edna Gardner in 1938 at Montague County.

He was preceded in death by an infant son.

Survivors include his wife; three sisters, Hazel Mooney of Decatur, 
Eunice Uberman of Fort Worth and Maxine Drummond of Brownfield.
