All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Forest Hill Cemetery--Garvin OK Obituary: Curtis Leo 'Curt' Cochran Curtis Leo 'Curt' Cochran 57, of Idabel, died Thursday in Idabel. He was born July 22, 1938, in Garvin. Cochran had lived in the Garvin/Idabel area most all his life. He began his career in radio at the age of 16 at KBEL in Idabel and continued to work in radio all his life in Hugo, Ardmore, Broken Bow and Paris, Texas, purchasing KBEL in 1990. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Idabel Lions Club. Survivors include his mother, Hattie Cochran of Idabel; his four children, Wayne Cochran of Ardmore, Cherryl Coleman and Doug Cochran, both of Broken Bow, and Sammy Cochran of Seymore, Texas; two brothers, Hal Cochran of Kingston and Johnny Cochran of Broken Bow; three sisters, Nona Sanders of St. Joseph, Mo.; Ann Lynch of Broken Bow and Carol Wolf of Mineral Point, Wisc.; and six grandchildren, Kenny Coleman, Sammy Coleman, Jeremy Coleman, Brandon Coleman, Michael Cochran and Meghan Cochran. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Norwood-Leonard Chapel in Idabel with the Rev. Phil Irwin officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
