::St. Matthews Cemetery--Broken Bow OK

Lylie Colbert March 6, 1981

Services were held in St. Matthews Presbyterian Church for Lylie 
Colbert, 76, of Broken Bow, who died March 6, 1981 in Talihina 
Hospital. The Rev. Bertram Bobb and the Rev.. John Bohanan 
officiated. Burial was in St. Matthews Cemetery with funeral 
arrangements handled by Coffy-Ruiz Funeral Home. Ms. Colbert was born 
April 15, 1904 in Eagletown, Oklahoma. A life time resident of 
McCurtain County she was a member of St. Matthews Presbyterian 
Church. She is survived by some son, Lawrence E. Robinson of Lennox, 
Kansas; seven daughters, Caroline Belt and Mary Louise Wilkins, both 
of Broken Bow; Mary Jane Bacon of Tulsa, Dorothy Thompson of 
Rosamond, California, Helen Sue Gover of Puyallup, Washington, 
Lucille Vargas of San Bernardino, California, and Orene James of 
Smithville, Missouri; one step-daughter, Katherine Bordeaux of 
Mission, South Dakota; two sisters, Irene Obe of Broken Bow and 
Sophina Hicks of Frederick; twenty-five grandchildren; twenty great-
grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.
