Obituary: Bessie Mae Cowell

Dated: Saturday February 5, 1938

Bessie Mae Cowell Will Be Buried At Wheelock Cemetery       

Funeral rites will be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m., at Wheelock church 
for Bessie Mae Cowell, 6, who passed away late Friday at the Hugo 
hospital where she was carried for treatment after receiving burns on 
January 15 from a grass fire at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. 
L. C. Cowell, who live on Garvin route one.        

Rev. W. R. Merry, Baptist minister of Forest hill will officiate.       

Coffey funeral Home of Idabel is in charge of arrangements.       

Besides the parents, she is survived by three brothers, Lonnie, Alvin 
Lee and Wallace Dean and one sister, Juanita Dean.
