::Crown Hill Cemetery--Broken Bow OK

MRS. NOEL DAVIS DIED SUNDAY NITE

FUNERAL SERVICES WERE HELD MONDAY AT CROWN HILL CEMETERY

Mrs. Noel Davis, age about 49 years, was stricken with paralysis last 
Friday night while attending a religious service about 3 1/2 miles 
southeast of Broken Bow.  She was immediately removed to her home 
where all that medical skill and loving friends could do was done.  
Her husband, who was in Arkansas attending the bedside of his father 
was notified and he returned home at once.

Mrs. Davis passed away about 2 p.m. Sunday evening, August 24th.  

Early in life Mrs. Davis professed faith in Christ and had been a 
constant devout Christian and loyal church member all her life.

Surviving her are her husband, two sons and one daughter.

The remains were laid to rest in the Crown Hill cemetery beside her 
son, Earl, who preceded her last November.  Rev. M.S. Peek, pastor of 
the First Christian Church of Broken Bow officiated.

The writer has known this family for a good many years and the family 
and community has suffered a loss from which they will not soon 
recover.
