B. Deving Mr R.B. Deving , a good man and a good citizen , died at his home north of Valliant last Sunday after an illness of several weeks with the flu. His remains were laid to rest in the Moran cemetery Sunday afternoon. Thus passes a man that the community could ill afford to lose. When the dreaded disease attacked him he was teaching the Poe School and was considered one of the best teachers in the county. Mr. Devine was a Missionary Baptist preacher but gave up the ministry several years ago and at the time of his death was a devout christian and a leader in his community . Mr . Devine moved to Arkansas from Alabama several years ago where he lived until he moved with his family to this country. He was loved and respected by everyone that knew him and the Tribune deeply sympathizes with the bereaved ones over the loss of their beloved husband and father. My Note: It is spelled Deving at the beginning but goes to the spelling of Devine toward the end.
