All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Denison Cemetery--Idabel OK McCurtain County Local Newspaper: November 26, 2003 Graveside Services for Dorothy Duncan, 78, McKinney, Texas were at 2 p.m. today in Denison Cemetery, Idabel, with the Rev. Shirley Pope officiating. Norwood-Coffey-Leonard Funeral Home, Idabel, was in charge of arrangements. Duncan died Sunday at her home. She was born March 1, 1925, in Little Rock, Ark. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. Duncan was raised in McCurtain County and moved to Collin County, Texas, 50 years ago. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Niner Mattie Cox Snider; by her husband, Jack Calvin Duncan, in 1986; by her brothers, Charles Snider, Joe Snider and Columbus Snider; and by a sister Verley Mills. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Cindy Duncan, Bonhan, Texas; and Luckey and Toni Duncan, Fort Worth, Texas; her daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Jerry Pope, Commerce, Texas; Audrey and Clyde Roberts, Anna, Texas; and Arlene Duncan, Franklin, Tenn.; a brother and sister-in-law, Glennon and Ruby Snider, Broken Bow; a sister and brother-in-law Charlene and Alvin Evans, McKinney, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one soon to be great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to McCurtain Archives http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/mccurtain/mccurtai.htm
