Amanda (Barnett) Dyer

Jan. 4, 1964

Rev. John Bohannon was assisted by Rev. Oakley Herring in conducting 
funeral rites Monday afternoon for Mrs. Amanda Dyer, 70, of Eagletown 
who died Saturday morning at her home.

Interment was in the Eagletown Cemetery under the direction of 
Norwood-Welch Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dyer is survived by her husband, Willie Dyer; three sons, William 
of Westwood, Calif., and Jack and Lloyd of El Reno; four daughters, 
Mrs. Joy Thomas of Talihina, Mrs. Joe King of Ardmore, Mrs. Lesley 
James of Talihina and Mrs. Raymond Pope of Tahlequah, and by 25 
grandchildren.

Mrs. Dyer had lived at Eagletown since 1915.  She was born December 
10, 1894 at Stigler, the daughter of the Alexander Barnetts.  She was 
a member of the Presbyterian Church.
