Norman Transcript

October 17, 2003

Neal Edwards of Norman died Thursday, Oct. 16, in Mission, Texas, 
after an extended illness. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at 
Westside Church of Christ.

Mr. Edwards was born Oct. 25, 1922, in Idabel, to Howard and Florence 
Edwards. He served in the Air Force during World War II. He was a 
school teacher and administrator for 42 years in Hammon, Merrit and 
Elk City. He was a member of the Westside Church of Christ.

Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by one sister and seven brothers.

Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife, Margene; daughters, Loree Thomas 
of Wheeling, W.V., and Lisa Nahhhas of Mission; six grandchildren; 
and sister, Bea Holton of Garland, Texas.
