M.E. EVETT PASSED AWAY HERE MONDAY A.M. Mrs. M.E. Evett, age 75 years, died Monday morning at the family residence on South Broadway after a lingering illness. Funeral services were conduct- ed Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Broken Bow Cemetery by Dr. Stephen B. Williams, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of this city. Skaggs Undertaking Company of Idabel, was in charge of funeral arrangements. Mrs. Evett united with the Baptist Church at Whiterock, Texas, 39 years ago. She was 75 years of age and was born in the state of Missouri. Mrs. Evett moved to this city serveral years ago and was well and favorably known. She was highly respected and had a large number of friends who deeply mourn her passing. She is survived by her husband, Moses Evett; one daughter, Mrs. Etta Ryker, and four grandchildren, David, Millard, Mosie, and Miss Alice Ryker, all of Broken Bow.
