All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Dennison Cemetery--Idabel OK Obituary Lavada Flowers Mrs. Lavada Flowers, 56 of Idabel, died Friday morning at McCurtain Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Idabel Norwood-Welch chapel with the Rev. H. Dayne Freeman officiating. Burial under the direction of Norwood-Welch Funeral Home will be in Dennison Cemetery. Mrs. Flowers was born July 24, 1923, in Oklahoma and had lived in Idabel most of her life. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Johnny Flowers of Idabel; a son, Leon Flowers of Idabel; three daughters, Linda Melear of Arlington, Tex., Brenda Tapley and Barbara Johnson, both of Idabel; two brothers, Elton Suggs of Broken Bow, and Dalton Johnson of California; three sisters, Velma Massey and Wilma Doan,both of Broken Bow, and Sue McGough of Haworth; and six grandchildren. ========= Funeral Home Announcement Comfort Oh, deem not they are blest alone Whose lives a peaceful tenor keep; The Power who pities man has shown A blessing for the eyes that weep.
