McCurtain County Local Newspaper: March 31, 1932

J. T. GILL DIED HERE FRIDAY

Mr. J.T. Gill who resides four miles east of town passed away at his 
home Friday and was buried at Holly Creek Saturday afternoon.  
Although the cause of his death is not certain it is thought that a 
hemorage caused by tuberculosis of the lungs resulted in death.

Mr. Gill is survived by his wife and several children who will 
continue to reside at the farm home east of town.

The News joins the friends of the family in extending their 
expressions of sympathy in this hour of sorrow.
