GORDON N.R. Gordon died at his home near Sweet Home, Wednesday, September 29th. He was buried in the Sweet Home Cemetery Thursday afternoon; Rev. Theamster, pastor of the Baptist church at Sweet Home, conducting the funeral services. Mr. Gordon was an uncle of Misses Etta and Lola Gordon, of this city. He was eighty-nine years of age. He fought in the Civil War and was an old veteran. He has lived for several years near Sweet Home, where he had many friends through his kindness and gentleness to all with whom he came in contact. He is served by his son, W.H. Gordon, of Blanchard; two sisters, Mrs. Bob Plunkett, of Sweet Home and Mrs. Mars, of Baker Springs, Ark., an uncle, Lee Gordon, of Broken Bow, and two nieces, Misses Etta and Lola Gordon, of Broken Bow.
