Obituary: John Gray

John Gray Dies This Morning       

John Gray, 81, Idabel, died at approximately 1:30 a.m. this morning in 
the McCurtain Memorial Hospital.      

Born Oct. 25, 1893, in Shawneetown, I. T., he had lived in this area 
all of his life.      

Surviving are his wife, Ila, of the home; two daughters, Helen Bone 
and Virgie Mullins, both of Idabel; four sons, Lloyd, Aubrey, John 
Jr., and Ed Gray, all of Idabel; one stepson, Bill Ragsdale of Broken 
Bow; four sisters, Neilly Cook and Loma Gragg of Idabel, Lena Wallace 
of Cahokia, Ill., and Jimmie Dewbre of Granite; two brothers, Bob and 
Joe Gray of Idabel; 20 grandchildrfen, and 10 great grandchildren.      

Funeral services are pending, with arrangements and burial to be 
announced by Coffey-Ruiz Funeral Home of Idabel.

Services are Held       

Funeral Services for John Gray, Idabel, were held Saturday afternoon 
in the Idabel Coffey-Ruiz Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Earl Mooney 
officiating.       

Arrangements and burial in the Canfield (Fairview) cemetery were under 
the direction of Coffey-Ruiz Funeral Home.
