All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Mount Olivet Cemetery--Ft Worth TX Hall, Myrtle Pearl Myrtle Pearl Hall, 89, a homemaker, passed away Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006, at a local care center. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: 1:30 p.m. Monday in Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Memorials: People Helping People, 306 Kings Plaza, Granbury 76048. Myrtle was born March 6, 1917, in Tom, Okla., to Ada and James Adams. She volunteered at People Helping People for 30 years. Myrtle was raised as an orphan, so she saw a need to help needy children. She kept newborns for the Edna Gladney Home until they went home to their adoptive parents. She also kept children that had been abused. Myrtle was known as "The Doll Lady of Granbury." She took old dolls and refurbished them and donated them to the People Helping People organization. She enjoyed wrestling and her favorite wrestlers were the Von Erichs. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Carl, on Dec. 4, 2000. Survivors: Sons, Harris Edwyne Calaway and wife, Shirley, Gerald W. Calaway and wife, Betty, James L. Calaway and wife, Barbara Jean; adopted daughter, Celia McBrayer and husband, Paul; grandchildren, Diana, Kim, Malcom, Mark and Tim; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
