Billie Jean Hamilton

The funeral for Billie Jean Hamilton will be at 11 a.m. Friday at 
Memory Gardens Mortuary Chapel in Medford. Entombment will be in 
Memory Gardens Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Mrs. Hamilton, 75, of Central Point, died Sunday (April 28, 2002) at 
Hearthstone.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Asante Foundation, 691 
Murphy Road, Suite 236, Medford, OR 97504.

She was born Billie Fish on Dec. 23, 1926, in Hochatown, Okla. On 
Nov. 21, 1942, in Reno, Nev., she married Carthal "C.J." Hamilton, 
who died in 1991. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1945 from Dorris, 
Calif.

Mrs. Hamilton was a checker at Sherm's Thunderbird in Medford for 23 
years.

She was a member of the Retail Clerks Union and the Moose Lodge.

Mrs. Hamilton enjoyed fishing and spending time with her 
grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, James W., Central Point; a daughter, Saundra 
Worthington, Central Point; two brothers, Glynn Fish and Gaylon 
"Buzz" Fish, both Central Point; five grandchildren; and six great-
grandchildren.

Arrangements: Memory Gardens Mortuary, Medford.
