All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Watson Memorial Cemetery--Oak Hill OK Obituary: Harkey Rites Set Thursday Helen Harkey, 71 of Broken Bow, died Tuesday (August 4, 1992) at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas. She was born Feb. 13, 1921, in Fayetteville, Ark., and had lived in McCurtain County for the past 21 years after moving from Stigler. She and Clement Harkey were married on March 11, 1940, at Idabel. She was a homemaker and a member of the first Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Clement Harkey of the home, two sons: Donald Harkey of Broken Bow and Ray Harkey of Spruce Pine, N.C.; one brother, L. B. Whiteside of Broken Bow; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Broken Bow with Rev. Larry Matthiesen officiating.
