Lora Harmon 

Obituary: Lora Harmon  

A former Idabel resident, Lora Hurn Harmon, 85, of Puyallup, Wash., 
died Wednesday in Puyallup. Funeral services weill be held at 3 p.m. 
Friday in the Powers Funeral Home Chapel in Puyallup.  

Mrs. Harmon was born on Aug. 13, 1903 in Arkansas and married G. W. 
'Wes' Harmon on Dec. 23, 1922. The couple operated a grocery store in 
Idabel for many years before moving to Washington. She was a member 
of the Baptist Church.  

Survivors include her husband., Wes, of the home; one daughter, 
Maxine Wall, and one son, Charles Harmon, both of Puyallup; two 
sisters, Earla Moore of Idabel and Ollie Harmon of Oklahoma City; one 
brothers, Homer Hurn of San Francisco, Calif.; six grandchildren and 

nine great grandchildren.  

Other Idabel relatives include Mae Hopkins Millison, Gertrude Hurn, 
Hazel Harmon and others.
