All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Broken Bow Cemetery--Broken Bow OK Obituary Raphael "Ray" Hicks Raphael "Ray" Hicks, 75, Broken Bow died Saturday at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas. Born May 19, 1913 at Honey Grove, he had lived in the community all his life. He was a retired supervisor for the Weyerhaeuser mill at Wright City and a member of the First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Caroline Hicks in 1980. He is survived by two sons, Randal Dewayne Hicks and Ray C. Hicks, both of Broken Bow; two daughters, Betty Lou Hicks, Tulsa, and Carol Williams, Broken Bow; a brother, Theodore Baken, Talihina; one sister, Susie Samuels, Talihina; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Nation Chapel at Broken Bow, with the Rev. Delbert Garrett officiating assisted by the Rev. Bertram Bobb. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery, under direction of Nation Funeral Home. June 19th Paper.
