Bastible Rites are Today

Betty Marie Jamerson Bastible of Millerton passed away Sunday, (Dec. 
6, 1998) at her home. She was born Jan. 12, 1950, in Garvin.

A lifetime resident of McCurtain County, Bastible was preceded in 
death by her husband, Travis Bastible, her father, Buster Jamerson, 
her mother-in-law, Willie and Ed Bastible, and her grandson Blake Lee 
Bastible.

Survivors include her mother, Marie Jamerson of Garvin, a son and 
daughter-in-law, Jimmy C. and Misty Bastible of Garvin, two daughters 
and a son-in-law, Sarah Hatcher, and Bridget and Chris Bond, all of 
Garvin; four brothers and their wives, Robert and Sarah Jamerson, 
Alvin and Tammy Jamerson, Curtis and Becky Jamerson and Danny 
Jamerson, all of Garvin; two sisters and their husbands, Lenora and 
Jimmy Dempsey, and Jessie and Don Gammon, all of Garvin; two 
brothers-in-law and their wives, J.V. and Ollie Bastible; and Troy 
and Mavis Bastible, all of Garvin; and five grandchildren, Tabatha 
Diemer, Danielle Diemer, Travis Diemer, Kayla Bond and Kasey Bond.

Funeral services were today at the Valliant Church of God with Bro. 
Rick Patterson officiating. 

Burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery.
