Obituary: Dovie James

= Dovie James Services Held Sunday At Bethel =    

Services for Dovie Ann James, 84, who died Saturday night in her home 
at Bethel, were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Bethel Baptist 
church, with Rev. Loyd L. Clark officiating.    

Mrs. James was born May 4, 1874 in Arkansas where she spent the first 
years of her life before moving to Bethel 52 years ago.  She was a 
Charter member of the Bethel Baptist church.     

She is survived by one nephew, Earnest Wilson, Bethel.      

Pallbearers were Leslie Moore, Johnnie Rector, Luke Morris, Jess 
Simpson, Jack Smith and Gene Gates.

Internment was in the Bethel cemetery under the direction of Coffey 
Funeral Home.
