DEATH OF MRS. J. JOHNSON

Mrs. J. Johnson, who resided on a farm north of this city, died at the
family home, Friday, December 10th, at 11:00 a.m. following a several
days' illness.

Mrs. Johnson was a dear, good woman and loved by her family and neighbors,
who will miss her very much.

The funeral services were held at the family home at 10:00 o'clock
Saturday morning, conducted by Rev. G. M. McNeilly, pastor of the First
Baptist church of this city.

The remains were laid to rest in the Holly Creek cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, J. Johnson, and nine children,
the eldest of them below twelve years old.

The News joins, the many friends of the bereaved in extending to them
their heartfelt sympathy.
