T. A. JOHNSON Mrs. T.A. Johnson was born September 7th, 1898, and died Feb. 13th, 1928. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Methodist church from childhood. Funeral services were conducted at the home Tuesday afternoon at 3:00, by Rev. H.W. Hanselman, pastor of the Nazarene church, who paid a high tribute to this noble character. The floral offerings were all so numerous and beautiful, which attested to the high esteem in which she was held by her many friends. Burial was made in the Broken Bow cemetery. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband and 10 children as follows: Mrs. W.A. Tolleson, Harper Springs, Ark.; Mrs. J.A. Johnson, Oakdale, Louisiana; Mrs. Sam Huddleston, Umpire, Ark.; Jewel Johnson, Oakdale, Louisiana; Verner Johnson, Harmon Johnson, Hugh Johnson, Pauline Johnson, Esther Johnson, Elster Johnson, all of Broken Bow. Mrs. Johnson is also survived by her father, J.B. Boyd, Amity, Ark., and brothers, T.A. Boyd, Moulden Gap, Arkansas; Rev. W.R. Boyd, Sherden, Arkansas; Fletcher Boyd, Amity, Arkansas; Nathin Boyd, Amity, Arkansas; and sisters, Mrs. Henry Nutt, Amity, Arkansas; Mrs. Eunice Glover, Alpine, Arkansas; Mrs Eula Walton, Alpine, Arkansas; Miss Tessie Boyd, Monroe, Louisiana, all of whom were present at the funeral except as follows: J.B. Boyd, T.A. Boyd, Mrs. Eula Walton, Miss Tessie Boyd and Mrs. Sam Huddleston. Mrs. Johnson has lived at Alikchi and Clebit and Broken Bow for the past seven years. She was a good christian mother and was loved by all who knew her. All of us miss her and are very much grieved by God's will be done. By: T.A.
