J.T. JONES PASSED AWAY FRIDAY Mrs. J.T. Jones, 59 years of age, passed away at her home here at 9 a.m. Friday. The deceased has been a resident of Broken Bow for the pas 22 years, and she leaves a host of friends and relatives who mourn her death. Mrs. Jones succumbed after an illnes lasting two years and seven days, having been stricken on September 17, 1930. During the last eight months of her life she was confined to her bed with paralysis. Mrs. Jones was the mother of nine children, all of whom are living: Amos Jones of Idabel, Okla.; Joe Jones and Dutton Jones of Durant, Okla.; Tom Jones of Broken Bow, Okla.; John Jones of Stockton, Calif.; Bob Jones of Compton, Calif.; Mrs. Grace Burns of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. M.D. Freeland of Bakersfield, Calif., and Mrs. Aveary Harris of Broken Bow. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Mittie Watson, of Arkadelphia, Ark., and three brothers, Charley Betties, Gus Betties, and Lawrence Betties, all of Arkadelphia. Funeral service was held at the family home at 2:30 Friday afternoon, with the Rev. R.H. Sneed, Baptist minister, officiating. Interment was at the Baptist cemetery (Crown Hill) under the direction of the Coffey Funeral Home.
