G. W. KEMP DIED AT EAGLETOWN SUNDAY

G.W. Kemp, one of Eagletown's oldest citizens died Sunday, December 6, 1931.
He was 76 years of age, and came to this county in 1898, from Arkansas.
He was a devoted father and Christian, loved by everyone who knew him.

Mr. Kemp is survived by a wife and five children, as follows: Mrs. Rosa
Luttrell, Broken Bow; Mrs Dora Fadlock, Valliant; Tom and Jord Kemp, and
Mrs. Ethel Johnson, of Eagletown.  He is also survived by a large number
of grandchildren, one brother, Bill Kemp, Commanche, Texas, and one sister,
Mrs. Mary Casey Wewoka.

The funeral was conducted at the Eagletown cemetery, Monday at 2:30 p.m.,
Rev. J.J. Land officiating.  Many out-of-town friends from Idabel, Broken
Bow, and De Queen attended the funeral.

The News extends sympathy to the bereaved.
