Mary Elizabeth Nease Kennedy, 88, died Monday at Northeast Georgia Medical 
Center, in Gainsville, Ga.
  
Born Jan. 14, 1902 in Paris, Texas, she was a member of the First Methodist 
Church of Broken Bow and had lived the past five years at Gainsville.
  
Graveside Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Denison Cemetery, with the 
Rev. David Bates officiating. The family has requested of the funeral home 
that there be no visitation. They will meet at the Cemetery prior to the 
funeral. The family also request that no flowers be sent.
  
Surviving are a son and a daughter-in-law, Judge and Mrs. James H. Nease of 
Gainsville, Ga.; granddaughters and their husbands, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Cannon,
 of Calquitt, Ga. and Dr. and Mrs. Lee Hawkins of Gainsville, Ga.; and 
grandchildren Kelly Cannon, James Phillip Cannon and Seth Kirksey Cannon, 
all of Calquitt, Ga., Benjamin Lee Hawkins, Elizabeth Marie Hawkins, 
James Paul Hawkins and Charles Michael Hawkins, all of Gainsville, Ga.
