ALTUS LEWIS
 
   
Altus "Dooster" Lewis, 63, of Idabel, died Wednesday in Idabel.  He was 
born Oct.8,1930, in Idabel.
   
Lewis was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County.  He was a vetran of 
the Korean War,  a member of the V.F.W. and a retired farmer and rancher.  
He was of the Holiness faith.
   
Survivors include his parents ,Clarence and Mae Lewis of Idabel; his wife 
Wanda; four daughters, Eva , Carolyn, Debra, and Wanda; four sons, Roy , 
Wayne, Virgil, and Altus Darnell; three brothers, Harold, Curtis, and 
Clarence; one sister, Bobbie; 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
   
Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Norwood Coffey-Leonard 
Chapel in Idabel with Rev. Elwayne Schaeffer officiating.  Burial will be in 
Canfield Cemetery under direction of Norwood , Coffey-Leonard Funeral Home 
of Idabel.
 
My Note: Altus died August 31,1994.
