Obituary

Donald Ray Manning, 61, of Broken Bow, Died Friday, Sept. 10, at 
McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel.

He was born Oct. 28, 1931, in Quinton and had lived in McCurtain 
County for 23 years after moving from Oklahoma City. He was a welder 
for Brown and Root Company at Valliant. He was of the Protestant 
faith.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine Manning of Broken Bow; two 
sons, Donald Richard Manning of Valliant and John Michael Manning of 
Broken Bow; one daughter, Sandra K. Welch of Dallas, Texas; one 
brother, Willard Manning of Euphala; eight grandchildren and one 
great-grandchild.

Funeraal services are sheduled for 2 p.m. today at First Baptist 
Church in Wright City with Bro. Harold McConnell and Bro. Floyd Bean 
officiating. Burial will be at Watson Memorial Cemetery under 
direction of Nation Funeral Home of Broken Bow.
