August 6, 1931

A. J. MARSHALL WAS KILLED MONDAY

A.J. Marshall, age 68 years, was instantly killed Monday night about 8:00
when thrown from a mule near his home at Glover.  Funeral services were
held at the Holly Creek cemetery Tuesday.

Mr. Marshall is survived by six children, Mrs. W.L. O'Conner, of Broken
Bow; Fred, Gordon, and Miss Erma Marshall, of Glover; Mrs. Vera Allen, of 
Gotebo, Oklahoma; and Rennie Marshall, of Denver, Colo.; one brother, Jim
Marshall, of Golden, and two sisters, Mrs. Mandy Hunnicut, of Erlnce, Ga.,
and Mrs. Margaret Molden, Gadsden, Ala.

Mr. Marshall was well known in McCurtain county where he has made his home
a number of years.  He had formerly resided at Idabel and Marshall Hill.

The News extends sympathy to the bereaved in their hour of sorrow.
