McDaniel, Manon M.

Manon M. McDaniel of Edmond, OK passed away February 15, 2003. Manon 
was born Feb. 10, 1922 in Battiest, OK to Grover and Ora (Goodwin) 
McDaniel. He retired as a Staff Sergeant after serving 20 years in 
the United States Army. During WWII he served with the 45th Division 
in Europe. He also worked in Civil Service at Kelly Air Force Base in 
Texas and Tinker Air Force Base of Oklahoma City. Manon married Ruth 
W. Hensley on December 11, 1948 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He is 
preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Winford, Melvin, and A.G. 
McDaniel; sister Gwendolyn Downing. He is survived by his wife Ruth 
of the home, sisters, Jerry Hilley of Arlington, TX, Lodene Stokes 
Hamilton of Jonesboro, GA, and Juanita L. Boyce of Lawton, OK; and 
numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be 2:00p.m., 
Wednesday, February 19, 2003 at Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel with 
interment following at Gracelawn Cemetery. Baggerley Funeral Home 930 
S. Broadway, Edmond
