Obituary: Curtis McLeod

McCurtain Gazette Idabel, Oklahoma July 29, 1959   

CURTIS McLEOD DROWNS NEAR ALAMEDA, CALIF. 

Boatswain Mate 3rd Curtis McLeod 26, Idabel, drowned Monday (July 27, 
1959) near Alameda, Calif. 

Born in Idabel March 2, 1936, he had served in the Navy for the past 
six years.  He had been assigned to the USS Bremerton. 

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.M. McLeod, Idabel; one 
brother, Carmon, Idabel; and Grandmother, Mrs. Virginia McLeod, also 
of Idabel. 

Funeral services are under direction of Coffey Funeral Home.
