::Denison Cemetery--Idabel OK

McCurtain County Local Newspaper:

Died October 8, 1929

IDABEL LADY DIED TUESDAY MORNING.

Mrs. W.E. Mendenhall, of Idabel, died Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock at the
family home there after an illness extending over a period of a year.
Since her illness she had received treatment at a sanitarium in Little Rock,
Ark., and the University hospital in Oklahoma City where all that medical
skill was done yet her malady continued to sap her life away.

She leaves a husband, one daughter, Miss Ela Mendenhall, and several
sisters and brothers as follows:  Mrs. W.M. Fincher, Waldo, Ark., Miss
Hattie Moody and Mrs. M.M. Lavender, Dallas, Texas; L.A. Moody, and T.F.
Moody, of Waldo, Ark.; A.C. Moody and M.H. Moody, Hope, Ark., and C.G.
Moody, Senton, Texas.

Funeral services were held from the Church of Christ, of which the deceased
was a member, Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock and was conducted by Rev.
Jeff Reese, of Centre Point, Arkansas.  Interment followed in the
Denison cemetery.
