Miller Dated: Wednesday February 20, 1952 News Paper: McCurtain Gazette, Idabel, Oklahoma Rites Held For Carl R. Miller Carl Ralph Miller, 60, Idabel, died at 4:25 a. m. Wednesday of last week at the Tri-state hospital, Shreveport, La. He had had a heart ailment for four years, but had been seriously ill only three weeks. Born September 22, 1891, at Athens, Ark., he had resided in Idabel for the past two years, moving from Waskom, Tex. He was a retired construction worker and a member of the Baptist church. Funeral services were held at Marshall, Tex., Friday morning. Graveside services were conducted at Canfield Cemetery at 4 p.m Friday by Rev. John Black. Burial in Canfield cemetery was under direction of Coffey funeral home. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marshall (Pearl) Cooke, Idabel, and Mrs. Oville Wells, Waskom, Tes.; two sons, Odis C. Miller, Waskom, and Cleo O. Miller Yakima, Wash.; two brothers A. W. Miller, Idabel and F. C.
