All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Valliant Cemetery--Valliant OK Obituary: Fern Marie Miller Dated: August, 1961 Newspaper: McCurtain Co., Oklahoma = Services for Three Victims To Be Today = Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Valliant High school gymnasium for three victims of Saturday's wreck near Valliant, Deborah Gail Miller, 3, and Fern Marie Miller, seven months, of Valliant, and Anna Marie Clark, 14, Garvin. Rev. Bill Golden of Hugo and Rev. Wallace Palmer of Garvin will officiate. Deborah Miller was born in Hugo and lived in Valliant for the past six months, moving from Twenty-Nine Palms, Calif. Fern Marie Miller was born in Twenty-Nine Palms. Survivors of the children are their parents Sgt. Raymond Miller, Jr., with the U.S. Marines on Okinawa, and Mrs. Miller, Valliant; one sister, Phyllis Miller; Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Miller of Valliant; Great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Miller, Mr. and Mrs. John Box, and Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Clark, all of Valliant, and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Miller, Idabel. Anna Marie Clark was born October 12, 1916 at Garvin and had lived there all her life. She attended Valliant Public Schools and was a ninth grade student last year. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andy Clark of Garvin; one half-sister, Mrs. Donald Bunn, Holly Creek; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Clark of Valliant, Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Chapman of Garvin, and Mrs. Cockerham of Holly Cfreek.
